For developers on windows having the database in the same location for all local instances is not convenient in some cases. So we can create a "developer" standalone distribution, which will be automatically built at the same time (and possibly in the same folder) with the regular standalone, and developer will be free to choose which one to use locally. This should be more convenient than having to add/use some flags etc. (especially that end-users probably don;t need this functionality anyway). Developers then will be free to choose which file to copy/install.
We can possibly add/modify other stuff developers may need in the distribution such as default no caching for resources - open for discussion (, , , , )
